Ross Phillips and Dahlia Phillips were great and made the closing on mine and my husband’s home go smoothly. They explained everything in a clear, and easy to understand way. They walked us through all the paperwork and gave us guidance. They made sure that we picked out an insurance for our property that would be helpful. They were responsive, hospitable, and easy to talk to. Everything was all done in a timely manner as well. We would recommend their business to anyone in need of title or legal services. We were referred to Ross Phillips by Brazoria County to sign and file some legal documents. My 87 year old mother wanted to get her affairs in order and list myself and my siblings as beneficiaries of her estate. After the documents were filed, my brother called his office because he was confused as to why they were mailed to him instead of to our mother. He found Ross to be dismissive and rude. My mother and brother then suggested that I email Ross to clarify the issues that we were all confused about. So I emailed him but never received a response. So after a month, I called and spoke to him. He told me that he explained everything in the initial visit and saw no need to respond to my simple email asking for clarification. I found him to be exactly as my brother described. He talked down to me, was dismissive of my questions, and very rude and disrespectful. My mother was a paying client and our family does NOT recommend this firm!

I made an appointment for my 75 yr old disabled mother with Mr Phillips. I made an appointment with Mr Phillips to see my mother. She no longer drives so she had to get someone to drive her to her appt. She arrived at her appt and Mr Phillips was unable to make the appt. She was told by his office when she arrived that he couldn't make the appt and he must have written her phone number down wrong. So he was unable to reach her to let her know. Totally understandable. Unfortunately Mr Phillips son was in the office and he came to speak to my mom and her driver. He then preceded to berate my mother and bring her to tears. He told her in so many ways what she was trying to do wasn't possible. Then while she is crying he then tells her she should pay him since he is $250 an hr and his dad was $500. My mom and her driver then left shocked on what they just witnessed. I then phoned Mr Phillips a few days later about what happen since my mom was so upset. I spoke to Mr Phillips and he said he apologized for writing the number down wrong and would talk to his son then reach out to my mom. Weeks have gone by and not a word from Mr Phillips. Very disappointed as Mr Phillips was recommended by friends, and I wanted to support a local business since i had lived in Pearland over 20 yrs. I did not want to write this review but after I read some of the other reviews I needed to share. Mr Phillips had plenty of time to make this right after I reached out to him.

I called to setup a consultation for someone that had real estate questions. Whoever answered the phone asked questions I didn't know. Then I was schooled on realestate law like I was an idiot for 11 whole minutes and finally told me that the people I was trying to get an appointment for needed to figure out what they wanted to do and they would do it. So I guess I need to find a realestate attorney to tell them what their options are then get this realestate attorney to do it? That was the reason for me calling in the first place to set up an appointment for someone to get those options in the first place. I finally said I would get back to them. So I guess if you are a realestate attorney and already know what to do these people would be glad to do it, but if you dont know then oh well I guess find you another realstate attorney :) hahaha Maybe they were having a bad day? The whole thing was bizarre!!!!

Is my first time using this Law Firm, and I feel very positive with their service!

I asked if I could come in for a consultation. They said they do not do free consultations, but they could have somebody call me. Right away this man introduced himself as an attorney. The first thing he did with very little information, was stripped me from any hope I might've had. It went downhill from there. He was judge and jury. What a jerk! I wouldn't recommend this company if they were the only one within 500 mi.².

This is a family owned business that is very knowledgeable and diligent. We needed help making my fathers will and Ross Phillips and his father Kenneth were more than happy to help. They prepared all the necessary forms and we supplied all the necessary information. We were in and out in about 1hr. Very good service and all our questions were answered.

Fantastic , he is an awesome attorney and has a great staff.
