From jail to justice.....I can not begin to thank Mark S.Hanchey Attorney and his entire staff enough for completely exonerating me from an incredibly unfortunate chain of events. "Thank you" leads in my comments. As a retired professional, I moved to Colorado Springs in my late sixties. Since moving here, two criminal charges have been brought against me. The first time I was horrified, embarrassed, and absolutely terrified, having never dreamed this would happen to me. I turned to my church community for advice, and was given Mr. Hanchey's name by a member who had worked in the county sheriff's office for several years. Mr. Hanchey met with me that same day. Shaking and close to tears, Mr. Hanchey listened to the story and with his always calm, thoughtful demeanor he focused my attention on the steps forward. I left his office with the confidence needed to face the next months. This case went to court resulting in a "Not Guilty" verdict. Eight years later a second criminal charge was filed against me, and I again turned to Mr. Hanchey. Again, Mr. Hanchey laid out the steps forward, and through his knowledgeable and effective efforts, this case was dismissed. In both situations, Mr. Hanchey was available, supportive, and direct with me. He kept me and family members informed. Further, his fees are reasonable and well earned. Hopefully, I will not require Mr. Hanchey's services a third time, but I would again turn to him, if needed. He is knowledgeable, approachable, and thorough. I am grateful.
