Ignoring Violations of the Temporary Orders I repeatedly informed Nancy about multiple violations of the Temporary Orders, providing details and evidence. She failed to: • file any motions, • advise me on immediate remedies, • notify the court, • or take any steps to enforce the orders or protect my parental rights. Her lack of response left me vulnerable during moments that required urgent legal action. ⸻ 3. Failure to Present Key Evidence in Court One of the most serious issues was that Nancy did not present crucial evidence in court, evidence that was necessary to support my claims, demonstrate the violations, and show the pattern of behavior affecting my child and this case. I texted the contact box in the lower righthand corner, and expected to be asked about scheduling an appointment with the normal initial hourly rate at a later time. Instead, Jacob called me directly, and we discussed my situation. He is not a lawyer, but had key legal insights and assistance. I'm a medical retiree with15 years of Service. He was similar. With every question I had, which initially felt specific to my situation, he was actually very familiar with and asked pertinent questions. He answered all of my questions, offering for me to speak to a legal representative, if I wanted. However, he had all the information I needed, with key details, insights, and processes only a person who has been through the same thing would have. They charged me NOTHING even though, he spent plenty of time with me. I had just been taken for money from another prominent local lawyer, who took advantage of me, charging for Services he did not perform based on fine print legalese. In contrast to this, I would describe my conversation with Jacob, and the help he provided, as a Godsend. Saved me thousands, and restored my confidence that there are not just ethical lawyers out there, but competent and caring ones who have a remarkable staff, also.

She understood the timeliness frustration of the Pro-Se process as conducted in Bell County, and was very amenable to getting things resolved quickly. The retainer was absolutely reasonable for the peace of mind, and staff were very quick to apply any minor corrections or clarifications as needed. I hope I don't need her services again (in a good way!) but know who I'll reach out to in the future!
