If you want results… reconsider your lawyer search. My experience with McCormick & Murphy was frustrating. There was a lack of communication, a lack of due diligence, and they didn’t fight for me. It was a one man show with no time for thorough follow up. The letters to insurance were poorly written, 7 pages long and had wrong dates or typos the Paralegal had to reword. I wasted a year and a half waiting for results. I switched representation who got the job done in 4 letters and half the time. Settled for full $100k.

I was t-boned by an uninsured motorist in June of 2022. I met with Jay Murphy shortly after the accident, but I decided to hold off on hiring a lawyer at that time. I didn't hire anyone for almost a year because I don't think of myself as a litigious person. I have never used a lawyer before for a personal injury matter. However, the situation became too complex for me to handle on my own. I was impressed that I didn't feel pressured by Jay to become a client after our first meeting. He was patient and his team was thorough. I am confident that Jay genuinely had my best interest at heart. My claim was unique because we were negotiating with my own insurance (since it was an uninsured motorist claim.) After nearly 3 years, the claim has been resolved. The settlement money covers all expenses I had incurred paying medical co-pays, co-insurance, etc. Additionally, it has ample excess to cover my future medical treatment. I would recommend Jay Murphy and McCormick and Murphy to anyone who wants to be treated professionally, with no pressure, and have their case resolved in a reasonable and responsible manner.

Terrible company. They just want money. My insurance company told me don’t get a lawyer bc all they will do is take from your money and sure enough they did. They do the same thing that the insurance companies do except you don’t have to pay the insurance companies. I regret ever using these people, and if I could go back in time I would not have done it!!! I regret it 100%

Don't use those people, they are just commercial, and they don't do anything. Iam talking from experience with those people i had sleeked their help for helping me with a case and after a month they sent me a letter tells me that they don't deal with the type of accident. after almost a month they just figured out they can't help me while they said they can do something in this case and had me sent them all pictures for the accident and information.

Initially I was greeted and had a great meeting where they really got to know me and the specific needs of my situation. Throughout my case, they stayed in contact with me continuously with updates, but also to find out if I had any additional needs they could help with. On several occasions, I needed additional info from medical, individuals, whomever. Each time they spoke on my behalf and got the needed info. There was very few things I had to find/gather on my own, and on those occasions, they helped me through it. Even after the case was complete, they worked and did find where additional funds could be returned to me from multiple medical entities. This really set them apart in my mind, as the didn't receive any of it, this additional work was solely for my benefit.
