I called The Gold Law Firm in November after I was rear ended with a friend's recommendation and referral, seeking counsel and aid. The first time I spoke with someone it was named that I would hear back from a lawyer or someone else in the office the following week, on Monday. When I didn't receive that phone call, I called them back. I was told to be patient and to send them an email with some documents so that they could build up my case. They also asked me to give them time because it was right around the holiday (Thanksgiving) and their lawyers were out of the office/out of town, but that I would get a call back from someone the following week. That call, nor update, never came. 2 weeks passed and since I didn't hear anything, I decided to give them a call back. I let them know I would like an update, any update, and shared that I would need to seek legal representation elsewhere because the radio silence was unprofessional. They shared that they would give me a call on the following Monday, which came and went, and via email they let me know they'd need more time to review my case and they would give me a call the following day. On Tuesday I missed their call, returned it, just to be told, "This case is not of economic value to us. And because we are a small firm, we recommend you seek counsel elsewhere." I was devastated and disappointed, especially since it took them a month to share this news with me. I asked what number did I have to hit for my case to be worthwhile to them, and there was no answer. Which clearly wasn't the case. Via email I received a letter declining my case... AND the letter wasn't even addressed to me. It was for another client, which I had to state myself. This entire experience was incredibly unprofessional and beyond disappointing. If they had just called me back when they said they could instead of what felt like stringing me on for a month, I could have sought counseling somewhere else. I have since found representation that is responsive, communicative, and making me feel that my case and I are important.

Dorothy and Victoria were both fabulous through the whole process, from the initial call to the final outcome. Whenever I had questions, the response was timely and the explanations were thorough. When I was hit by a non insured truck driver I thought I lost everything. This team of amazing people worked hard and pushed to help me as much as possible. Sad conversation with these wackos. I needed help and direction with an abuse case regarding a child therapist a few years ago. She was rude to me and spoke in loud voice saying, ‘do you not know what a statue of limitation is?!’ Three times. I have nuero diversities but not some idiot and couldn’t even get the words out to say because she belittled me and did her best to make me feel stupid. She then cuts me off repeatedly when I was trying to share a different, incredibly important case that did meet the current timeline and disgusting. I then I also called back to ask for the name of the lady I had spoke with to file a complaint and the receptionist said, ‘sorry, there’s no way I’m telling you.’ I then asked to just talk to a manager about the disrespect during an incredibly tough situation and phone call and no help. If they treat a soon to be customer like this, wow. WOW. Wow!!!!

I am so grateful and so happy with every aspect of my experience with The Gold Law Firm! From my very first phone call, which Greg took personally, after hours, to the final result of my case.
