Initially I had reached out to Derek months before we were placed with a child to understand how the finalization process worked from a legal standpoint. Derek was able to answer all of my questions in an understandable way. Once we had been matched and placed a few months later, we were told Derek was a judge and was no longer practicing. Though we were disappointed, Pam, their paralegal, was spoken so highly of from our friends that we decided to move forward with the firm anyways! During our finalization, we worked with Pam and Dave to finalize our adoption. It was quick, seamless, and easy with their help! I cannot speak more highly of this firm. I'd recommend them indefinitely!

The entire process was smooth, despite some difficult circumstances. We had a very unique adoption situation, which included multiple states, three guardianship conservators, and biological parents who were in jail or hard to find due to substance issues. Derek, Pam, and Dave were all very informative, actively participative, and guided us through every step of the process. With it being a family adoption, there were some pieces that needed to be handled with care, but with their help, we reached a point where we finalized the adoption with little resistance. Our adoption journey took us 9 years to finally receive our little miracle. Adoption is hard and also one of the greatest blessings.
